The Crushers played in the first game of the tournament at 9:00 this morning. Because their hotel is only a few blocks form the ballpark, they all walked together to the field. The fields looked great with well kept outfield and finely cared for infield.
The game started and Bend South took an early lead. By the end of the third inning Bend South increased their lead and was leading by four runs (score was 2-6). The Crushers turned their game on at that point and lit things up. They managed to take the lead and soon were ahead 8-6. South Bend would score two more runs before the game's end but the Crushers would match those runs and score two additional runs. The game ended half-way through the sixth inning with a score of 10-8.
